Bathroom Music.
So I've got this pretty cool idea going, and I have decided to share it with all of you...
I've got this music setup going in my bathroom so I can rock out in the shower...
this is my setup, I have some old sony computer speakers hooked up to an old cd player, and the reason for this is that I am not limited, like if I used a large boom-box that takes up a lot of space. I can also hook up my iPod to the speakers if I feel the need [which I usually do].
It's also popular with anybody who visits my house and has to shower, everyone who has used it has commented on it and one or two people have started doing it themselves after seeing my setup in use. Trust me on this one, you should set this up in your bathroom, best idea that is recycling old electronics.

I used to do that until the cd player fell and died.
A good hack for this would be a wireless remote for inside the shower - possibly on the inside of the shower door.
Some day in the next few years I'll get a couple cheap Marine grade speakers and mount them in the ceiling above my shower, run them to a small amp that will be hooked up to the computer, and rig up a small waterproof RF remote. :-) You have inspired me.
That's awesome! See, I just whip out an old boom box whenever I take a shower. It makes the time go by quicker and get's me to wake up more easily!!
